Our Program

We are committed to advancing diversity and inclusion in our business operations, while ensuring high-quality, innovative and cost-effective products and services. Through our supplier diversity program, we actively seek to provide diverse and small businesses an opportunity to participate in procurement activities. We look to partner with, grow and develop diverse businesses in our supplier base.

We recognize that successfully maintaining a diverse supplier base requires commitment and teamwork throughout the organization. We encourage our employees to support these efforts and provide diverse suppliers with an opportunity to compete for our business.

We will track and share our progress as we work collaboratively with small and diverse businesses to empower our communities where our employees, customers, agents and brokers live and work.

Goals of the Program

Increase procurement opportunities for and our total spend with diverse suppliers that are capable, innovative and qualified to provide high-quality goods and services aligned with our business strategy.
Build a diverse network of qualified suppliers with diverse expertise and talent within the communities in which we operate.
Ensure fair and impartial consideration is given to diverse suppliers to compete for and win our business as a component of our strategic sourcing and procurement process.
Maintain and use a current directory of qualified diverse enterprises as a resource for identifying potential participants in requests for proposal (RFPs) and other procurement opportunities.

Supplier Qualifications

Arch looks to respected certifying organizations to ensure we prioritize work with qualified suppliers. We are open to partnering with any potential supplier, regardless of size. However, to be considered a diverse supplier, a company must meet certain basic qualifications.

United States

Diverse Supplier Qualifications

Be a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, that is located in the U.S. or one of its trust territories that is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by one or more U.S. citizens that identify as an ethnic minority, woman or veteran, LGBTQ+, or person with disabilities.
Be recognized by a certifying agency, including:
- Other federal, state and/or local government agencies.
- Other certifications may be recognized on a case-by-case basis.

Small Business Supplier Qualifications

For a company to be considered a small business supplier to Arch, it must likewise meet certain qualifications. They are as follows:

Be a for-profit enterprise that operates primarily in the U.S. or makes a significant contribution to the U.S. economy through payment of taxes or use of U.S. products, materials or labor.
Be certified by and eligible for assistance from the Small Business Administration.
Meet the numerical size standards defined in the Small Business Size Regulations.

If you qualify as a diverse business and possess a current certification from a certifying agency, you are invited to register on our partner portal.

Begin Your Registration

By registering through our onboarding partner portal SupplierOne (link opens in a new window), you will be entered into our supplier database. If we have an opportunity related to your submission, we may contact your organization for further information. A submission to the database does not guarantee a business opportunity. Completing this profile will allow supplier information to be searchable for inclusion in procurement and sourcing events.

Arch Supplier Code of Conduct

Approved suppliers will be required to acknowledge Arch’s Supplier Code of Conduct and abide by the standards set forth in Arch’s Human Rights Policy.
